The Council on Aging is the principal advocacy body for seniors and disabled individuals in the City of Los Angeles.
LACoA is a group of volunteer leaders that help the Department of Aging improve the quality of life, independence, health and dignity of the city’s Older Adults.
Members of the Council meet regularly as a whole or in standing committees to engage in public and media discussions of relevant issues impacting the lives of older adults. Call 800-510-2020 to complete the application process.
